In this post, I am going to show you how to install ZeroCoda Map on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install ZeroCoda Map using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "ZeroCoda Map" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

ZeroCoda Map is the application dedicated to navigating the outdoor and indoor environments of healthcare facilities. Inside the application you will find maps of the hospitals and facilities of the healthcare companies that have decided to activate the ZeroCoda wayfinding service. ZeroCoda Map can be used without registration and without login, with anonymous access. Once the App has been installed, you will only have to give consent to collect the GPS position and activate Bluetooth communication with the beacons installed in the structure. Once the App has been installed, to access the map of your interest you can search for the company and the facility where you need to go or scan the QR-Codes that you will find displayed in the reception areas of the facilities that have activated ZeroCoda. The App, after having requested and collected consent during installation, will locate your position thanks to the GPS signal, in the external areas, and to Bluetooth in the internal areas, communicating with the beacon devices installed in the structure, positioning you precisely on the map. In external areas, the App allows you to save the position of your car and use it later as a destination, to easily find it again. In the map section you can view and search for the different places and points of interest of the structure, divided by categories (e.g. entrances, clinics, services, etc.), zooming, rotating and exploring the different floors of the buildings. Add the places of greatest importance and importance to you to your favorites, from where they will be quickly findable. By clicking or selecting a specific point of interest, you will be shown useful information on the point of interest and the services connected to it. Furthermore, images, links or videos will help you orient yourself in the structure and identify your destination. Once the destination has been established, it will be possible to start navigation by choosing the shortest route or the accessible one, which will avoid obstacles and architectural barriers, allowing it to be traveled even in a wheelchair. The distance in meters from the destination and the estimated arrival time will be highlighted on the map. Along the route, you will receive punctual and real-time directions that will guide you step by step until you reach your destination.
