In this post, I am going to show you how to install AR PWPW on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install AR PWPW using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "AR PWPW" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Get to know the most important dates related to the building towering over the New Town, located at Sanguszki Street in Warsaw. See what shape it took, how it developed and find out what impact the war had on it.
Using augmented reality solutions, the application will allow you to take a closer look at the building model - you can view it from any side, rotate and zoom freely.
The mobile application is an addition to the folder published on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the Polish Security Printing Works.

About the PWPW building
The PWPW headquarters at Sanguszki Street was built in the second half of the 1920s in the functionalist style according to the design of Antoni Dygat. It was one of the largest buildings in Warsaw at that time.
During the defensive war of 1939, the factory was not destroyed. Under the occupation, she worked for the General Government until the Warsaw Uprising. On August 2, the building was taken over by the insurgents and held for almost a month. The factory became a redoubt protecting access to the Old Town, but also a hospital and an anti-tank bottle factory. The building was significantly destroyed during the German attack and after the Uprising.
In 1945, the building was deemed unsuitable for reconstruction, and PWPW production was moved to Łódź. Despite protests that this modernist building did not fit into the surroundings of the New Town, the decision was made to rebuild it. The work lasted between 1946 and 1950, but in 1948 production returned to Sanguszki Street and is still held in the same building today.
