The myborder.io app is a simple mobile application with a truly humanitarian purpose. The app enables users to report the location of potentially vulnerable arrivals at Britain's shores, having taken the perilous journey across the English Channel on dangerous small boats. The purpose of the app is to assist civic organisations such as UK Border Force in their efforts to provide instant humanitarian assistance to the victims of people trafficking gangs. By geolocating arrivals, we will be able to build a picture of regular routes and times used by trafficking gangs, helping authorities to map potential vulnerabilities at our border.

My Border does not require any personal information to be submitted by the user, enabling instances of potential illegality to be reported discreetly and with complete anonymity.

The app aims to create a catalogue of landing sites from small boat crossings, in real-time, enabling the relevant authorities to act swiftly and provide immediate humanitarian support at the point of arrival.

Our mission is to end the needless tragedies witnessed at Britain’s borders, and provide instant intelligence to authorities in their efforts to tackle organised crime gangs that take advantage of those who seek genuine solace in a safe country.
