Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is an electronic system used to verify authorized services and provide electronic proof. In simpler terms, to get reimbursement for the visits, you are supposed to provide details for your visit. These details include the work performed, hours spent, notes, accurate location and patient-caregiver interaction, to name a few. EVV has six requirements: the date of service, location of service delivery, type of service provided, caregiver, service provider, the patient receiving the service, and the time when the service begins and ends.
