This application is developed within the scope of the Project “Ecology and Management of Invasive Plants in the State of Rio de Janeiro” financed by FAPERJ notice 39/2021.

The plant species identification key is based on the article: “Durigan, G., Ivanauskas, N. M., Zakia, M. J. B., & Abreu, R. C. R. (2013). Control of invasive plants: ecological and socioeconomic criteria for the decision making process. Nature & Conservation, 11(1), 23-30. https://doi.org/10.4322/natcon.2013.003” published in Nature & Conservation Magazine.

The development is the result of a partnership between PET-SI, coordinated by professor Sérgio Manuel Serra da Cruz from the ICE Computing Department and professor Rodolfo Cesar Real de Abreu, from the Applied Ecology Laboratory (LEAp) of the UFRRJ Forestry Institute.
In this first phase, the application aims to help catalog plants found on trails within Conservation Units. It allows you to add, georeference observations and classify plants according to occurrences on the trails traveled. The entered data can be exported for external analysis.
