Please don't just give this app a low review without at least saying why you had a problem with it.

This is an app to measure Galvanic Skin Response or GSR. It will only work with special finger electrodes and a smartphone. It needs an external microphone input and so it may not work with some tablets. Samsung phones may require a modified cable.

GSR logs the value of skin resistance into a comma separated value file that can be read with most spreadsheet programs. The file is written to the top of your SD memory area with a unique name made from the date and time (YYMMDDHHMMSS.CSV).

The chart shows the previous 50 seconds of values. If the value changes too much, it automatically re-centers itself. You can push the Center button at any time to force it to center. Centering does not effect the data that is stored in the file. A vertical marker is drawn periodically to help show the scrolling movement of the chart.

During the first 25 seconds, the audio output level is automatically adjusted to set the gain for the measurements. At the end the volume is restored to the original setting.

The right audio channel has a feedback signal for the change in GSR. Lower frequency means more relaxed while higher is more stress.

The background color also changes from green which is neutral to red with stress or blue with increased relaxation.

This is still experimental software, so I have some debugging numbers than can be turned on from the menu. They don't have anything to do with the GSR values. If you have any problems, or success, please email me before giving a negative review.
