BCDF2 is an internal app for our departments communications. The app allows you to communicate with other members of the department.

For the sake of compliance with Googles "Misleading Content Policy," the following will be stated.

1. The chats/threads you will see when logged into your account will be based upon the chats/threads admins add your account to. They may not be the same as reflected in the screenshots from the "Test" account.

2. We have a red dot that will appear on threads in which you have unread messages. In one of the screenshots, namely, the screenshot that shows all your active threads, that red dot is not visible or present. It only appears when you have, as you guessed, unread messages.

For the test user account, which Google will use to test the app for approval, you may or may not see the red dot appear unless a message is received in one of those threads during your time of testing from another account. Messages you send yourself do not activate the unread message status. It is unlikely for the "Test" account to see the red dot show up again unless the IT team is testing the app at the same time.

Again, for our users, this has been added to the description (even though it's exactly what you, our user, would expect) because if it's not explicitly stated, Google flags the screenshot as "Misleading Content." I am sorry if adding common sense to the apps description causes you to do a palm to your head moment. But policies are policies and we can't have Google believe you are being mislead by a screenshot without a red dot in it (taken at a time of no unread messages) when you may, in fact, see a red dot if you do have unread messages. Feel free to message me in the app or either privately if you find need to laugh at me for adding this to the description.

As a final note - again, to comply with Googles "No Misleading Content" policy, there may be items shown in the screenshots that are not available to your account. App features are dependent upon what type of account our admins assign you when your account is created. For the purpose of Google understanding that there is NOTHING misleading in any of our screenshots, this is a company app, intending for distribution for our own members, who all understand that they may be assigned different roles within the app.
The previous release of our app unintentionally caused app crashes during the launch sequence. This was caused by a misconfiguration that got missed during our testing. This new release address that issue and has been tested on multiple devices to ensure it is a stable release.
