Just what allergy sufferers in Madrid need!

Finally, an app that easily and simply combines pollen levels from different sources with pollution levels.

Find out the pollen and pollution levels around you, filter by the pollens that affect you, view the graph of the last 7 days to see the trend, or simply check the situation in other areas of Madrid.

The official apps don't work very well: maps where you can't click the dot, PDF files that open and are unusable, or errors and buttons that don't work. This app gathers data from two sources: the Community's Open Data service (which has an update delay of two days at best), and the 'Pollen Viewer' on the website, which only shows the previous day's values ​​(sometimes). This delay is because it's a manual process; there's no data on weekends!

By combining both sources, we can present more robust data to understand the situation and trends at a glance.

We give the levels as percentages, where 100% is the result of the maximum threshold plus the average threshold, and the colors are Yellow, Orange, Red, and Purple. Green only appears when there are no significant measurements, because even a small amount of pollen can still cause allergies! All anomalous peak measurements above the usual thresholds will be shown as a high percentage and will be represented by a skull instead of a smiley face.
