None of my Android devices let me play a video continuously (looping it) while locking away the video playback controls. The best so far is LG devices, which has a lock button that locks away the playback controls; but it lacks looping.

So here it is... a video player that loops and offers no playback controls. Perfect for very specific needs.

Device prep:

To stay inside this app, the power button and navigation controls of the device must be blocked off. I use plexiglass to enclose the outer edges of the device, but anything will do. Unfortunately, the app will still be interrupted when a phone call comes in or a scheduled alarm fires.

How to use:

1. Create a folder named "to_TV" (note the caps) under the top directory of the external storage (which can be your removable micro SD card or an internal storage partitioned as external storage).

2. Put video files under the to_TV folder.

3. NOTE: the "to_TV" requirement is no longer needed. Just navigate to the app's private directory and follow the readme instructions. This change removes the app's requirement to access public directories on the Android file system.
