Step By Step Guide To Install MDS Classification and Risk using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

The Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) developed this mobile app to assist physicians with risk stratification and selection of treatment options for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). It includes the following functionality:
• Access to journal articles, NCCN treatment guidelines, AA&MDSIF professional and patient education resources;
• Medical calculators for the following classification/scoring systems:
1. FAB Classification
2. WHO Classification
3. IPSS
4. WPSS
In each of these systems the user may scroll and select choices to determine a classification or prognostic score and optionally, to send information generated from the scoring/classification systems via e-mail.
