Vodostaji - Hrvatske Vode on Windows Pc

The Hrvatske vode mobile application displays information on water levels, points to possible dangers and enables timely and better preparation for possible floods, the level of danger and the best possible intervention.

Within the framework of the Main Flood Defense Center of Croatian Waters, a system has been established for the constant monitoring of the hydrological regime on watercourses and other waters in the Republic of Croatia, the data of which is collected at certain time intervals and stored in the information system of Croatian Waters.

The information system of Croatian Waters also collects data from water measuring stations from the territory of other countries in the wider area of ​​the basins, which are connected in a common data exchange system. These data are displayed in the Vodostaji application and on the Hrvatske vode website.

The exchange of hydrometeorological data with other countries is carried out through the mechanisms of international multilateral and bilateral water management commissions and the World Meteorological Organization. The collection and processing of hydrometeorological data and the preparation of water level forecasts and warnings for flood defense purposes is the responsibility of the State Hydrometeorological Institute.

CHARACTERISTICS:

- information on the current water level and flow
- detailed insight into water levels and flows at a certain measuring station in time intervals and with a graphic display of water level movements
- data is collected from automatic water measuring stations (there are 384 such stations in the Republic of Croatia)
- the possibility of selecting the stations we want to follow
- the possibility of receiving notifications about the conditions and measures being implemented
- the possibility of receiving other important notifications from Croatian waters

Data is not available if the mobile device is not connected to the Internet.
