Step By Step Guide To Install LED Color Tester using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. LED color tester lets you test the different colors that maybe supported by your device's notification LED.

To test the notification led, just pick a predefined color or select one of your choice by moving the slider, press the start test button and turn off the screen to test the LED.

Notes:
*may not work if your device has previous notification. It is advised to clear off all the notifications before starting.
*this app will not change color of LED for sms, call or emails etc. It is just for testing the colors that are supported by your device's notification LED.
*The extended use of this app may result in faster battery drain
*Disco mode might not work on all phones.
