Why it matters
The sound is synthetic, but the mapping is grounded in real data—sequence, amino-acid properties, and structural motifs—so you can hear trends as proteins “perform.”

What it does
Fetch: Pull sequences directly from RCSB PDB using a PDB ID.
Map: 20 amino acids → a 20-note palette from your Scale/Mode + Root.
Pitch: hydropathy (Kyte–Doolittle) linearly mapped to MIDI pitch.
Velocity: molecular weight linearly mapped to MIDI velocity.
Duration: secondary structure (α-helix, β-sheet, etc.) → note length (ms).
Synthesize: Create 16-bit PCM WAV on device.
Play & Share: Preview in-app, save, and share.

Who it’s for
Curious listeners: What does your protein “sound” like?
Students & educators: Reinforce concepts via amino acid ↔︎ scale mapping.
Researchers & creators: Try data-driven sonification for pattern insight.

Features
RCSB PDB fetch • Scale/Mode & Root selection • 20-AA palette
Data-driven mapping presets (hydropathy, molecular weight, secondary structure)
16-bit PCM WAV export • On-device preview • Share

Get started
Enter a PDB ID (e.g., 1A2C) → Fetch Sequences
Pick Scale/Mode and Root → Generate & Play
Export WAV to share your protein’s music

Due to the higher-quality rendering and enhanced instrumentation, playback may take slightly longer to generate.

We especially recommend the Solo – Ballad Grand Piano, and we have also composed exclusive sleep music not typically found in conventional genres, designed specifically to help you relax and rest.

Updated to support Android 16 (API level 36) for improved compatibility, security, and Google Play compliance.
