Why SMART?
Learning things is something that we continuously face from the moment we are born. Also, forgetting is natural, especially if we don't get into that information in a long time.
Psychologists say that the best way to learn something is to frequently "get into it", and they even determined an ideal "schedule" for repeating things. Learning following that schema (schedule) is the SMART way to learn the specific information you'd like to know.

How does the app "reminds" you the things you added for learning?
There are two ways:
- the default one is by issuing an Android system notification (this is similar to when receiving a SMS or an email).
- the other one is also a notification, but an in-app one: you'll have to open the app and it will appear under the "notifications"menu.

Using the app:
The app is based on "learning items". They are nothing but a combination of two fields:
- what is the desired thing to learn (this can be anything).
- description/details about that thing.
As simple as that.
Also, you can assign an importance to the learning item and tag it by creating your own tags and assigning them to the item.
Items are stored under two categories: currently learning and learned. The difference between them is that for the learned items no more notifications will be fired because all scheduled reminders were already fired and the item is considered to be learned.

Learning schema:
It is the schedule by which you choose to learn an item. The app will make sure to notify you at every specified moment from a schedule, with either a system notification or an in-app one.
There are two type of schemas:
- smart schema: the overall-accepted best schedule for learning something.
- custom schema: you can define and use your own learning schema, fitted for you. Also, you can save it and reuse later for other items.

Usage areas:
The app is very well suited for learning things in the following areas:
* dictionary words (especially when you're trying to learn a new language)
* historically events and facts
* general-knowledge facts
* geographic facts
* curiosities
* generally anything that can be structured as a question&answer.
