राखी बांधने का शुभ समय (Raksha Bandhan Muhurat)
चंद्रग्रहण रात 10.53 बजे से शुरू होगा। इसका मोक्षकाल देर रात 12.48 बजे तक होगा। ज्योतिषाचार्य का कहना है कि चंद्रग्रहण से 9 घंटे पहले यानी दोपहर 1.53 बजे से सूतक लग जाएंगे, वहीं सुबह 11.04 बजे तक भद्रा का असर रहेगा। चूंकि सूतक और भद्रा दोनों में ही शुभ कार्य वर्जित हैं, इसलिए इन दोनों के बीच का समय राखी बांधने के लिए शुभ है। सुबह 11.05 बजे से लेकर 1.52 मिनट (करीब 3 घंटे) तक आप रक्षाबंधन का त्योहार मना सकते हैं।
विधि विधान (History and Vidhi of Raksha Bandhan)
भविष्यपुराण के अनुसार इस दिन राजा को मन्त्रों आदि द्वारा अपने दाहिने हाथ में रक्षा सूत्र बंधवाना चाहिए। समय के साथ और पौराणिक गाथाओं के चलन के साथ यह त्यौहार अब भाई-बहन के त्यौहार का प्रतीक बन गया है। इस दिन बहन अपने भाई की कलाई पर राखी बांधती है, उसके माथे पर तिलक लगाती है और उसकी दीर्घायु और प्रसन्नता के लिए ईश्वर से कामना करती है।
