To use the FamGuard(for child and elders) app, the following permissions are required:
[Required Permissions]
- Usage Data Access: Enables parents to monitor app usage and block harmful apps used by the child.
- Accessibility Service: Used to help parents protect their child by restricting access to apps that are excessively used. The app package name and app name are used only to determine whether the app currently running on the child’s device matches the apps selected by the parent for restriction. This feature operates only when Accessibility permission is enabled and app restriction monitoring is activated, and will not function if Accessibility permission is disabled.
When SMS and supported social media apps (such as Instagram and X) are in use, on-screen text may be processed to detect harmful messages and analyze conversation insights. Collected data is never used for any purpose other than providing app restriction and child safety monitoring features.
