OpenFeed is a modern RSS and blog reader built for people who want full control over their information diet. In a world dominated by algorithm-driven timelines, cloud lock-in, and social network manipulation, OpenFeed puts you back in charge. No tracking. No engagement hacks. No hidden agendas. Just pure, direct access to the content you choose.

Unlike traditional news apps that rely on opaque algorithms and centralized feeds, OpenFeed is fully **open, local-first, and cloud-free**. Your subscriptions live on your device — not on someone else’s servers. That means faster performance, complete privacy, and zero data harvesting. You decide what you read, how you read it, and where your data lives.

With OpenFeed, you subscribe directly to the **source of truth**: the original RSS feeds from blogs, independent journalists, research outlets, and trusted publishers. Skip the noise of reposts, outrage cycles, and rewritten headlines. Read content as it was meant to be read — unfiltered and unmodified.

Why OpenFeed stands out

Take back control of your news
Stop relying on social networks that reorder reality based on engagement metrics. OpenFeed lets you build a curated feed shaped by your values, interests, and trust.

100% local and private
No accounts. No cloud sync required. No behavioral tracking. Your reading habits stay yours.

Non-social by design
OpenFeed is intentionally not a social network. No likes, no shares, no follower counts — just signal over noise.

Authentic information, straight from the source
Avoid misinformation loops and algorithmic distortions by reading original feeds directly from creators and publishers.

Minimal, fast, and distraction-free
A clean reading experience focused on clarity and speed. No ads, no clutter, no dark patterns.

Open philosophy
Built around openness and user sovereignty. OpenFeed embraces open standards like RSS and Atom so you’re never locked in.

Built for mindful readers

Whether you're a knowledge worker, researcher, indie hacker, journalist, or simply someone tired of manipulative feeds, OpenFeed helps you build a personal, curated information network that reflects your curiosity — not someone else’s profit model.

Use it to:

* Follow independent blogs and niche communities
* Build a private alternative to social news feeds
* Track industry insights without algorithmic bias
* Stay informed without surveillance capitalism

Own your feed again

The internet was built on open protocols — and OpenFeed brings that spirit back. By reconnecting you with the original architecture of the web, it enables a healthier way to consume information: slower, smarter, and sovereign.

If you’re looking for a **private RSS reader, offline news app, local feed reader, or non-social alternative to algorithmic timelines**, OpenFeed is your answer.

OpenFeed — Read the web on your terms.
