Ibero-American Congress Epidemiology and Public Health

The next Meeting of the SEE will be special. It always is when he summons together with SESPAS, and what about a city like Granada. But this time will have more ingredients to make it particularly attractive as they join us epidemiologists Portuguese who held the Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Epidemiology and count with the collaboration of the IEA and the Latin American Alliance of Epidemiology and Public Health.

The theme of the Congress: "The science and practice of health policy: the public health intelligence", encourages scientific and professional contributions committed to the needs of society today convulsed.

We hope that in Granada, from 3 to 6 September, will submit responses in accordance with the requirement to implement effective public health policies. We need certainly good science, but also examples of good public health practices, timely analysis of the determinants of global health and policy influence at all levels and of course, we need to generate new ideas and contribute to intellectual debate and democratic social organization needed to maintain and improve the health of the population. We long for all this and more, in this meeting possible.
