Monitor popular Web sites to see if (and when) they mention your name, your company or a product you are interested in.

Given a Web page URL and a phrase (short text or a string of characters), First Page Monitor will periodically retrieve text from the given web site and check if it contains the given text.

A log is kept showing the date and time, the URL, the search phrase and the status as it changes.

Once started, the Monitor runs as a service in the background, out of the way, and shows its screen only when the status changes. The Monitor will continue to run even when the device goes to sleep (waking it up periodically to perform its task). When the status changes while the phone is in sleep mode, only an audio notification is played; the screen with the new status is shown after the device is brought out of sleep.

The Monitor must be (re)started after the device is powered up.
Only the first 200k characters of the Web page are retrieved (this may be configurable in a future release).
