THE USP — THREE TAPS, NO SETUP

• Tap one — Capture. Google's ML Kit document scanner finds the edges and corrects perspective. Multi-page in the same flow, no "Next Page" pop-up.

• Tap two — Clean. Six filter presets in one chip-strip. Pick the right one and move on.

• Tap three — Sign and save. ScanSign suggests the right signature line and orientation. Save as PDF or as a stack of JPGs. Share to anywhere.

SIX FILTERS —

• Auto — trust the capture. ML Kit already did the heavy auto-enhance on the camera frame.

• WHITE — the colour-preserving one. Pushes near-white pixels to pure white while preserving saturated ink. Blue signatures stay blue. Red stamps stay red. Most "white background" filters destroy colour. This one doesn't.

• B&W — full desaturation plus a steep contrast curve. The classic photocopy look.

• Grayscale — gentle desaturation, preserves mid-tones. Good for photos that ended up in a PDF.

• Color — slight saturation + contrast boost for already-colour-printed pages.

• Magic — a pre-tuned matrix for receipts, handwritten notes, and faded thermal print.

SMART SIGNING — ONE TAP, NOT FIVE

A signature line detector finds the right place on the page. ScanSign orients your stored signature, scales it, and lands it in place. Initials, stamps, and date stamps live in the same library and are reusable across documents.

Your signature lives on the device. It is never uploaded, synced, or "backed up to the cloud".

ANNOTATE — HIGHLIGHT, PEN, COMMENTS

Annotations draw onto a transparent layer per page. Hide them, edit them, remove them — the underlying scan stays clean.

SAVE AS PDF OR AS IMAGES

When you're ready to share, ScanSign bakes everything down identically whether you save as a multi-page PDF (with optional password and watermark) or as JPGs into Pictures/ScanSign. The two exports always match the on-screen preview.

• No account — the app opens, that's the onboarding.
• No cloud — pages, signatures and annotations stay on the device.

WHAT SCANSIGN DOESN'T DO

It doesn't summarise your documents with AI. It doesn't sync them. It doesn't upsell you on storage. It doesn't want your contact list.

If you'd like a feature-maximalist scanner, Adobe Scan and CamScanner do that job well. If you'd like one that scans, signs, and gets out of your way, install ScanSign.
