In this post, I am going to show you how to install R-Squares on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play R-Squares using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "R-Squares" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

R-Squares is a game that you will download free and with it you will give the best of your abilities to solve each puzzle proposed.

The mechanics of the game is very simple: squares divided into cells are shown and by touching on a cell, all surrounding cells (up, down, right, left and those on the four corners) will change its color, getting the next color (of the sequence shown at the top of the screen) that the cell has. The touched cell does not change its color.

The color following the last color of the sequence is the first.

It is considered that the cells surrounding the other are those which come in contact with it, so if the touched cell is in a corner, will be surrounded by 3-cell, if it is on a side, will be surrounded by five cells, and if elsewhere, it will be surrounded by 8 cells.

If you are not comfortable playing with colors or have difficulty to distinguish them, you can activate the "Show number for color" in "Settings" and on each cell will show a number, being the same for all cells that have the same color. Thus you can play with numbers instead of colors.

Many of the puzzles are difficult to resolve, but all can be solved.

There are 70 squares to play, each one with its own number of cells and colors.
