Voyaero is a charter-airline simulation built around real-world airports and climatological winds. Pick a starter region — Asia, Europe, or North America — and grow a single regional hub into a global network by chasing tailwinds, dodging headwinds, and earning route licenses across four airport tiers.

KEY FEATURES

• Climatological wind, real geography. Every flight runs against an atmospheric wind field derived from public reanalysis data. Eastbound legs across mid-latitudes ride the jet stream; tropical legs catch the trade winds. Pick the wrong direction and you'll bleed fuel.

• Published airways. Major real-world tracks — North Atlantic, Pacific organized track, Trans-Eurasia, polar arcs — are flyable as bonus routes once you own the appropriate license. The straight cyan line is the great-circle direct path; the yellow dashed lines are the published airways with their bonuses.

• Six aircraft tiers. From the regional Horizon TP-40 turboprop up to the Globe Trotter GT-1 ultra-long-range explorer that can circle the world in a single flight.

• Charter operations. No fixed schedule. Pick a destination, pick a takeoff slot in local time, and the picker tells you whether you'll catch a tailwind, hit headwinds, or cross the day/night terminator. Wait 12+ hours for a rested-crew bonus; arrive at night and your load takes a hit.

• Two projection modes. 3D globe and flat equirectangular — toggle from the toolbar to suit how you want to think about a leg.

• Three map backgrounds. Satellite (NASA Blue Marble), topographic (Natural Earth Cross Blended Hypsometric Tints), and pure vector geojson with four selectable color themes (Atlas Green, Midnight Chart, Sepia Atlas, Mono Slate).

• Day/night terminator. The world rotates with real solar position. Plan ETAs that don't dump your passengers into a 3 AM arrival.

• Tier-based airport progression. Start with regional slots, unlock secondary hubs, then major hubs, and finally mega-hubs like LHR, JFK, and LAX. Each tier sits inside a curated unlock prerequisite (region count, total airports owned).

• Destination dossiers. Tap any airport to read a one-page brief: the city's airline-relevant geography, weather quirks, nearby alternates, and a "did you know" fact you can use to plan smarter approaches.

• Captain's logbook. Every first arrival at a new airport and every new aircraft purchase unlocks a short flavour vignette in the spirit of a real pilot's journal.

• Six languages. Built-in support for English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

WHO IT'S FOR

If you've ever traced a long-haul on a globe and wondered why a Tokyo–Los Angeles flight curves up over the Aleutians, or why London–New York is faster going west, Voyaero is your sandbox. Real geography, climatological winds, no in-app purchases, no ads, no live-service grind. Just you, a globe, and the atmosphere.

Ships as a single app — no servers, no accounts, no telemetry. Your save lives on your device. Data sources and licenses are credited in the app's About screen.
