TrueEffort turns a course file into a smart, terrain-aware pacing plan — so you run the right effort, not just the right pace.
Import a route (GPX, FIT, TCX or KML), set your goal finish time or target pace, and TrueEffort computes effort-adjusted splits for every kilometre or mile. Instead of naive even splits, it accounts for the climbs and descents along your actual course, so your plan reflects how the terrain will really feel on race day.
WHAT YOU GET
• Effort-adjusted splits — per-km/mile times that account for gradient, not just distance
• Grade-Adjusted Pace (GAP) — see your equivalent flat-ground pace
• Interactive route map — pan, zoom, and tap a split to see exactly where it is
• Elevation profile — drag to inspect any point; it highlights on the map
• Famous courses built in — explore major marathon routes instantly
• Recent routes — quickly reopen files you've imported
• Add the race to your calendar in one tap
• Metric or imperial — kilometres or miles, your choice
• Clean, fast, dark interface — no clutter, no account required
HOW IT WORKS
1. Import your course file (or pick a built-in famous course)
2. Set a goal time or target pace
3. Get an effort-adjusted split table, GAP, map and elevation view
4. Save the race to your calendar and run your plan
Built for road and trail runners who want a pacing plan that respects the hills. No sign-up, no ads
New: browse a growing library of famous race courses with search, filters, and a map (Pro). Share any saved plan as a public link — anyone can view your route, elevation, and pacing splits, no account needed (Pro). Plus: a shared-plan badge, pacing indicators on shared links, and smaller fixes.
