Step By Step Guide To Install SWDS - ECE Project Demo App using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

"Smart Water Distribution System" deals with automatic monitoring of water distribution system by detecting the leaks and updating the flow rate values in the database.
Hardware used: Arduino UNO R3, AT89C51 uC, XBee (ZigBee) Transceivers, Water flow sensors, Ethernet Shield.
This app, when connected to LAN where the database is located, fetches the data and displays it. Following data are displayed in this app,

1) Current flow rates through each sensor.
2) Current status of the system.
3) Database showing flow rates and Water usage.
