Explore the fascinating world of optics with RayBend, a comprehensive interactive laboratory designed to help you visualize and calculate the physics of light refraction. Whether you are a student, a teacher, or a science enthusiast, RayBend provides the tools to master the fundamentals of Snell’s Law and light behavior.

Interactive Refraction Lab Simulate light rays as they travel between different mediums. With real-time controls, you can adjust the angle of incidence and observe exactly how light bends when passing through materials with different optical densities.

Prism Dispersion Experiment Discover the beauty of light dispersion. Use the prism module to see white light break into a vibrant color spectrum. Control the refractive index of the triangular prism to understand how different materials influence the bending and separation of light.

Precise Snell’s Law Calculator Solve optical equations instantly with the built-in calculator. By entering three known values, you can find the fourth—whether it is a refractive index or an angle. The tool provides immediate feedback, including alerts for Total Internal Reflection.

Extensive Material Library Browse a detailed database of refractive indices for a wide variety of substances. From common materials like water and glass to rare crystals and semiconductors, the library provides the data and descriptions you need for your experiments and studies.

Educational Lessons & Facts Deepen your understanding of physics through curated lessons. Master key concepts such as the speed of light, refractive indices, and the conditions required for Total Internal Reflection. Stay inspired with interesting optics facts every time you open the app.

Key Features:
• Real-time light ray simulation with adjustable parameters.
• Visual dispersion effects through a triangular prism.
• Step-by-step Snell’s Law solver for angles and indices.
• Database of refractive indices for dozens of materials.
• Educational content explaining the core principles of optics.
