In this post, I am going to show you how to install GrazFeed Free on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install GrazFeed Free using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "GrazFeed Free" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This is a abridged version of the GrazFeed decision support tool to help graziers improve the profitability of livestock production through the more efficient use of pasture and supplementary feeds.
GrazFeed is a user friendly way of applying the most up-to-date research on the energy, protein, mineral, vitamin and water requirements of sheep and cattle.
It defines the responses of animals, in weight change, milk production and wool growth to quantitative and qualitative changes to their feed supply.
GrazFeed is based on the Primary Industries Standing Committee publication "Nutrient Requirements of Domesticated Animals" available from CSIRO Publishing.

Making the most of pastures.
GrazFeed can help graziers and their advisors:
> decide what level of annual production a particular pasture will support
> minimise the cost of supplementary feed
> select the most suitable feeds
> use only the amount of feed required to maintain stock or meet a production target.

This abridged version is suitable for Tablets and Phones. It contains the essence of the biology of the main program. The full version of GrazFeed runs on Windows operating systems but will also run on the Android devices mentioned above.

This app provides the user with all the Pasture, Breed and Animal functions of the full program as well as the Stocking Rate and Supplement Target.

However, when offering a supplement to the animals, the user is restricted to six choices instead of more than fifty in the full version, plus the ability to enter new feeds. Also the use of Roughage alone is turned off.

When selecting Targets for Feeding the option available to the user is "Targeted weight gain". The options turned off are:
Fixed levels of supplement
Supplement offered before grazing

Result Tables shown in the free version.
Results will show Diet Composition including Intake limit, Herbage on offer and eaten for : Digestibility
Protein crude and degraded
Metabolizable Energy
Efficiency
Energy and protein partition and protein requirements.
Animal production.

Nitrogen and methane outputs, costings, weather effects and comments on the outputs are not included in this version.
