In this post, I am going to show you how to install Volume Lock on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Volume Lock using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

Volume Lock uses the AccessibilityService API strictly to provide parental control and settings
protection features:

1. What is it used for?:
The Accessibility Service is used solely to detect when protected app screens (such as system
settings or camera) are opened while the lock service is running. This allows the app to redirect
to the security PIN screen to prevent unauthorized tampering or uninstallation of volume controls.

2. Privacy and Data Collection:
• The AccessibilityService API is NOT used to collect, store, or share any personal, private,
or sensitive user data.
• It DOES NOT read, record, or track screen content, keystrokes, voice calls, or personal
files.
• The service runs with minimal scoped permissions (canRetrieveWindowContent = false).
