In this post, I am going to show you how to install Linger: See Deleted Messages on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

Linger helps you save and organize the notifications received on your device, so you can return to them even after they disappear from the notification panel.

The app stores a local copy of notifications from the apps you choose to monitor. This allows you to reread messages, find notifications you missed, and view the content of messages that were deleted after a notification had already been received.

All notification content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to the cloud by Linger.

Read Messages Without Read Receipts

When message content appears in a notification, you can read the saved copy inside Linger without opening the conversation in the original messaging app. This may allow you to review messages without marking them as read in the source app.

Linger saves notification content when it is received. If the sender later deletes the message, the saved copy may remain available inside Linger.

Privacy and Control

• Linger can only save notifications received after the app has been installed and configured.
• The app cannot recover messages that never generated a notification on your device.
• If notifications were muted, their content was hidden, or the app was restricted by the operating system, the message may not be saved.
• Saving images and media depends on the original app, device settings, and the information included in the notification.
• Linger is not a spying app and cannot read messages from other devices.
