🎧 Music the way it was recorded — not the way your phone decided to change it.

Audiophile is a bit-perfect, offline-first music player for people who can hear the difference — and want proof, not marketing. It decodes your audio itself, drives USB DACs directly, and shows you in real time exactly what path your music took to reach your ears.

Most Android players hand your music to the system, which quietly resamples, mixes and processes it. Audiophile doesn't. When a USB DAC is connected it bypasses the Android mixer completely, talking to your DAC over raw USB — the same layer a desktop audio driver uses, running on your phone. And when true bit-perfect isn't possible, it tells you honestly instead of pretending.

✨ What makes it different
🎯 Dual playback engine — a battery-friendly everyday engine, plus a custom FFmpeg engine for bit-perfect, hi-res and DSD, switchable without missing a beat.
🔌 Direct USB DAC path — bypasses the entire Android audio system for class-compliant USB DACs.
🎼 DSD & DoP support — native DSD passthrough or DoP, with a clearly-flagged PCM fallback.
🩹 Lossy Audio Restoration — rebuilds the harmonics and stereo detail lost to MP3/AAC/Opus compression, scaled to how damaged each track really is. No "AI" black box, just real DSP.
🎚️ Hi-Res Dynamic Remaster — oversampling plus dynamic expansion that gives over-compressed masters their punch back, without ever clipping.
📊 Honest live telemetry — every track shows its real format, real output path and a true bit-perfect flag that only turns green when the system confirmed it.

🔋 Fidelity that respects your battery
The whole audiophile pipeline is opt-in. By default you get a normal, battery-friendly player. Turn on the Audiophile engine only when you want it — and while it runs, it intelligently pins decoding to your phone's efficiency cores, never wasting power on the highest-performance core.
