Nib is a fast, focused Android client for your own Ghost blog. Write a thought, attach an image or a link, and publish to your site in seconds — or queue it offline and let Nib sync when you're back online.

Nib talks directly to your self-hosted or Ghost(Pro) site through the official Ghost Admin API. Your content and credentials stay between your phone and your server — there is no Nib account, no middleman, and no tracking.

Not sure yet? Tap "Explore demo" on the setup screen to try the whole app instantly — no account needed.

FREE, ALWAYS
- Compose short posts in an editorial, distraction-free editor
- Optional titles — post titleless microblog notes or full titled articles
- Attach images and rich link previews with one tap
- Hashtags become Ghost tags automatically
- Save drafts, edit, delete, and publish
- One Ghost blog
- Editorial timeline with search, filters, and sorting
- Swipe actions, pin, and preview
- A statistics dashboard: posts, words, reading time, tags

OFFLINE-FIRST
- Posts are saved locally first, then uploaded in the background
- Automatic retry with backoff when the network drops
- Never lose a post because you were on the subway

ALT TEXT, IF YOU WANT THE HELP
Nib can suggest a description for an image you are about to publish. It is off until you add your own Google Gemini API key in Settings, and nothing is ever sent when you attach an image, save a draft, or publish — only when you open the alt-text dialog and press Generate. Before the image is sent it is scaled down and re-encoded, which removes the GPS coordinates, camera model and timestamp your phone wrote into it; the file you picked never leaves the device. Requests go straight to Google and are billed to your own Google account. What comes back is a suggestion in the alt-text field, for you to edit, keep or delete. Nib never publishes one on its own, runs no server, and sees nothing.

NIB PRO
Nib has no servers and never sees your writing, so there is nothing to rent you. Pro funds the work of keeping a small, independent app current with Ghost and with Android — and it unlocks the publishing workflows built on top of that:
- Up to five Ghost blogs, each fully isolated with separate credentials and offline queues
- Scheduled publishing
- Send posts as a newsletter
- Members administration
- Static pages
- Full tag management

Choose monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase — whichever suits you. Prices are shown in your own currency by Google Play. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play; the lifetime purchase does not renew.

Installed Nib before Pro existed? Nothing is taken away. Everything you already use stays yours, permanently, with no purchase required.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Credentials are stored encrypted on-device (AES-256)
- No ads, no advertising ID, and nothing about you is sold or shared
- No usage analytics. Nib includes crash reporting, which you can switch off in Settings, and nothing else that reports back
- Nib has no account and no server of its own: your writing goes to your Ghost site and nowhere else

If you self-host Ghost or run a small independent blog, Nib gives you a native, private, phone-first way to keep it alive.

Requires a Ghost blog and its Admin API key (Settings then Integrations on your Ghost site).
New Manage tab: pages, tags, newsletters, members, staff, tiers and offers in one place, with member and newsletter editing.
Three home-screen widgets and launcher shortcuts, isolated per blog.
Editor: title, slug, excerpt, visibility, canonical URL, feature image and featuring, plus inline bold, italic, link and code.
Saving no longer flattens content written in Ghost Admin — a post Nib cannot reproduce faithfully keeps its original body.
