Ever wonder if "natural" actually means anything on a label?

Label X-Ray scans a barcode or reads a pasted ingredient list and gives you a plain-English verdict in seconds: is this genuinely clean, greenwashed marketing, or heavily processed? No jargon, no chemistry degree required. It also searches official government recall databases, so you can quickly check whether something you own has ever been recalled.

HOW IT WORKS
• Scan a barcode with your camera, or paste an ingredient list by hand
• Get an instant verdict: Clean, Greenwashed, or Processed
• See exactly which ingredients drove the verdict, and why — in plain language
• Get a concrete suggestion for a genuinely better choice

FOOD & COSMETICS
Switch between Food and Cosmetics with one tap. Each has its own ingredient analysis, its own allergy/sensitivity checklist, and its own plain-English verdict — same idea, tuned for what actually matters in each category.

RECALLS
Type or photograph a product you own and Label X-Ray searches official recall databases from the US (CPSC), Canada (Health Canada), and the EU (Safety Gate) — always linking back to the official source, never a guess. Completely free, with no scan limit. Open the app and you'll also see a quick heads-up if there's a new recall in your region.

WHAT YOU GET
• A quick organic status check (yes / no / partially)
• A shopper-friendly summary — not a lab report
• Specific ingredient call-outs, worst first
• A practical "what to do instead" suggestion every time
• Unlimited, free recall lookups across three official databases

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most label apps just repeat what's printed on the package. Label X-Ray reads between the lines — catching when "all natural" is doing a lot of marketing work while the ingredient list tells a different story. And unlike a general web search, its recall lookups go straight to the official US, Canadian, and EU databases.

FREE TO START
5 free scans every month, no account or sign-up required. Need more? Subscribe for 20 scans/month, or grab a one-time scan pack. Recall search is always free and unlimited.

IMPORTANT
Label X-Ray is an informational tool, not medical, dietary, or safety advice. Always check the actual product label and official recall notices yourself, especially if you have an allergy or medical condition.
New: Search official recall databases (US, Canada, EU) for anything you own, right from the app.
Fixed: the Recalls tab was incorrectly showing an allergy settings button that didn't belong there.
Fixed: text overflowing off the screen in Cosmetics' "Personalize results."
Other small bug fixes and improvements.
