For minds that work differently.

Most to-do apps are built for brains that plan in a straight line. HadToDo was built for everyone else - people who are spontaneous, who forget, who think about too much at once, or who never quite warmed up to classic lists.

Instead of asking what you still need to do, HadToDo asks just one thing in the evening: what did you get done today? Planned or spontaneous, big or small - it all counts.

WHY THINKING BACKWARDS HELPS
Classic to-do apps assume you plan in a straight line and use failure as motivation. For a lot of people, that leads to familiar patterns: the future feels abstract. Tasks that are too big lead to shutdown. Red badges and overdue counters trigger shame instead of motivation.

HadToDo flips that around. You log what you actually did - and at the end of the day, you see how much really adds up. Often more than you thought.

HOW IT WORKS
During the day, you check off what's happening - your own habits as one-tap quick picks, or freely typed in. In the evening, your day recap shows a positive overview: what you got done, no judgment, no comparison. Over time, you start noticing your own patterns - which days tend to add up, what you handle regularly without even noticing.

FREE AND FULLY USABLE
Today screen: free text entry, habit check-offs, completed list
Plans: schedule ahead with a date or "someday", including sub-steps
Recurring tasks
Day recap: animated summary with a moment of recognition
History: browse past days anytime
Your own habit library
Gentle, personalized reminders

No account hassle, no fine print, no hidden costs in the free tier.

PREMIUM: EVEN MORE OF WHAT YOU ALREADY ARE
Weekly overview: active days, best day, most frequent habit
Share your recap: your week or month as a personal card
Pattern insights: weekday patterns, recurring combinations
Home screen widgets: check off, log what you did, and see your progress - without opening the app
Your own accent colors and a personal sound for your day recap

NO GUILT-TRIP DESIGN
No red badges. No streak penalties. No "3 tasks overdue" alerts. HadToDo isn't a productivity tool trying to optimize you. It's the first honest look at what you're actually getting done.
