How Doomy uses Android’s AccessibilityService API

Doomy uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to provide its core app- and website-blocking features.

When you enable Accessibility access, Doomy can detect when you open a distracting app or website that you have selected and measure how long you use it. This allows Doomy to display its blocking screen when needed and give you insights into your app and website usage.

Doomy does not use AccessibilityService to read private messages, collect passwords, read what you type, change device settings without your permission, control other apps, or prevent you from disabling or uninstalling Doomy.

You can disable Accessibility access for Doomy at any time through Android Settings.

Privacy

Doomy uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, such as app opens and feature usage. This information is used to improve the app and understand how it's used. Doomy does not collect sensitive personal data.
