"Congress of Veterinary Specialties AVEPA" held annually in Spanish cities. For two days Veterinary specialists gather in more than 22 specialties to present, discuss, discuss and update issues of common interest.
This year Congress will bring together more than 1,000 professionals, will be held at Hotel Melia Avenida America

These days we have a clear commitment to bring the different specialties and disciplines that comprise our professional field, the generalist veterinarian, have reached no doubt his majority.
Goals since the start of Congress have relied on to provide a platform for specialty groups AVEPA that facilitates logistics, organization and communication of its activities, take advantage of the many synergies between its scientific programs ahead of the interests of workers, and the largest global concentrate supply a large number of veterinarians who can attend different sessions.
In turn, these congresses have come to different geographical areas and bring training to areas where it is usually more difficult to provide comprehensive scientific programs with approximately 11 simultaneous conference rooms.

HISTORY OF CONGRESS
In 2002 this project by holding its first congress at the Faculty of Veterinary of the UCM of Madrid was inaugurated. On that occasion nine working groups presented their programs AVEPA, and 300 veterinarians attended their activities.
The important and successful evolution of this congress has allowed to change from the usual presentation of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, a Congress with all the logistical improvements comfort and image that this entails.
Evolution of Congress has been very positive in these fourteen, reaching BILBAO last edition in which more than 1,200 attendees.
