Bongard problems are a kind of puzzle create by the computer scientist Mikhail Moiseevich Bongard in the mid-1960s.

Later they became widely know when they were mentioned on the book "Gödel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter".

There are two sets of six diagrams. The diagrams of the first group (left) have a common factor, rule or pattern, wich is lacking in the second group (right), because they have a different pattern, or the pattern they have is the negation of the rule on the left.

An example is the case where all figures on the left are triangles and the figures on the right are squares.

The goal is to find the rule/pattern.

This application is not a game. Will not give you the solution. Merely presents the problems and allow the user to discover and write down the solution to each of them, having fun while doing it. Some are trivial, but others are extremely complicated. Each individual has more or less difficult to solve the problems, which means nothing in terms of intelligence or any other mental characteristic.
