Wave Play is the app for participants in an event where a Human Wave (aka Mexican Wave) is created via the control of the organizer using the Wave Jockey App. Both Wave Play and Wave Jockey work together to allow the creation of synchronized human wave as well as synchronized display of visual patterns and playing of sounds on the participant's mobile phone.

With the Wave Play as the participant's app, the user will need to register and login to the Wave Play group to join with their mobile phone number. The organizer can then through the Wave Jockey app control the participant mobile phone in a synchronized manner for display of visual patterns on the mobile phone screen, playing of sounds on the mobile phone as well as creating the human wave (Mexican wave) in different directions. Included in the Wave Play app is also a feature called Party Props, allowing the user to play party sounds or display visual patterns on their mobile screen offline.

Wave Jockey is for the organizer. To create an account to organise such a mega event, the organizer need to contact the app developer. An account will be created for the organizer. The organizer can then create different celebration group for participants to join and control. Through the Wave Jockey app, the organizer have a choice of Sounds, Display Patterns or Human/Mexican Wave to create synchronised view on the participant's mobile phone. In creating the Human/Mexican wave, a few columns of the participants will be selected and act as the cue to initiate the wave creation. The direction of the wave is also being indicated on the participant's mobile phone.

With both apps, it is also now possible to generate Human/Mexican wave at night or where the lighting condition is very dim. The participants will get vibration and a rise up and sit down animated display on the mobile phone together with a night pattern display. The night pattern display is only available when then wave is initiated after sunset. These effects will greatly enhanced the interactiveness and responsiveness of the participants. The unique experience will also give a greater display of participation and togetherness between the organizer and participants.
