In this post, I am going to show you how to install Rekenrek (beta) on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Rekenrek (beta) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

This version contains Rekenrek five exercises:
- Make 10: converts a requested number to 10 on the rekenrek.
- Make 20: converts a requested number to 20 on the rekenrek.
- Count to 10: count the beads set to 10.
- Count to 20: count the beads set to 20.
- Practice: Free exercise with rekenrek that can be operated by touching the beads.

Update the app regularly to take advantage of new features.

Caution! On some old phones or tablets can this app not work. The app is one GPU required. Rekenrek works on a smartphone, but is best suited for a tablet.
