The author of this book is: Shamseddine Muhammad Ben Othman Ben Oaimaz Has Turkmani, Al-Fariki, Ad-Dimachki, Ach-Chaf'éi known-Dhahabi. Born in Damascus in 1274 (673 AH). He comes from a family who lived in "Miafarkine. He was brilliant in her studies with the sheikhs of Syria, Egypt and Hijaz. For this he visited the major cites of the time, it make him one of the great scholars of his time especially to the Qur'an and hadith of récites2.

He was the example of understanding and retention to such a degree called him the Imam of the universe retain and Sheikh justification of men (ie of the reporters of hadith), and the master of men in all scientific fields (religious).

Finally it has been very popular and students come to see all countries.

ADH-Dhahabi mentioned in his 1300 glossary bibliographic Sheikhs of those they have learned and those he taught them.
