Medioera is a festival born in 2010 in Viterbo, which has as its goal to create opportunities for discussion and investigation on technologies that are now part of our daily lives.
The term comes from Medioera sincresi Mediaeval New era. The etymology is obviously linked to the origins of the place, Viterbo, and the concept of the festival, which is the digital age and the adjoining technologies.

Each edition has a date and a location, an official program and an agenda of events specified by time slots and intervention stocks held by guests.

Through discussion on technologies, new digital media, social networks, new knowledge and know-how related to the digital age and the global and local dynamics, the festival has the objectives of:

- Provide the necessary tools to the public to seize the best opportunities offered by the Internet and the so-called "digital revolution";
- Creating culture, curiosity, criticism, debate, exchanges between different skills and experiences;
