This app allows any logistics or transport company to securely document the allotment and chain of custody of the handheld terminal scanners assigned to each employee.
The app works more than a predefined asset tracking software and delivers an efficient mechanism to control the loss, damage and accountability.

This equipment management app delivers a complete track record of handheld terminal scanners in real time which further avoids delay in identifying the responsible person for the same and offers a detailed report of current and previous users of each handheld scanner.

The monitoring of the scanner management process is enabled by using an android device or tablet during the allotment of the terminal scanner and return, respectively. This is one of the most essential apps for logistics, transport and freight service companies to ascertain the number of terminal scanners assigned and lying idle to define accountability per user.

The app renders a mechanism to the department heads of the logistics or transport company to monitor and control the damage of each handheld scanner assigned to each employee by way of NFC tag, QR code or a Bar code.

Features:

▶ registers handheld scanners by reading NFC tags
▶ identifies when a scanner is damaged and whether it needs to be serviced/repaired or needs a battery recharge
▶ offers a custom text field
▶ reads the NFC tags of employees in-charge of receiving/returning the handheld scanners
▶ registers all addresses automatically from the GPS coordinates when entering data (if GPS reception is available)
▶ registers dates and time of data entry automatically
▶ records the logins of users
▶ captures employee signatures

Benefits:

▶ each and every allotment of a scanner is well registered – no scanner is assigned without documentation
▶ every allotment of a handheld scanner can be analysed and verified on ginstr web
▶ sort data by employee name, department name, scanner name, allotment date, or date of return
▶ continuous monitoring of the chain of custody of handheld scanners with readily available data to the department heads of the logistics company.

This app is offered to you at no cost; however, in order to use the app you must purchase a ginstr subscription.
