Step By Step Guide To Play Think a Dot using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Think a Dot" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

Think A Dot is a puzzle game with 127 levels where you are challenged to match a color pattern (small pattern on the right)
This is achieved by dropping marbles in the three gates at the top which will change the colors in the eight holes. Each hole contains a switch which switches when a marble passes. This causes the marble to take a different route the next time (enable the "Look inside" option to reveal this mechanism)

This game is inspired by the mathematical Think-a-Dot toy made by E.S.R., Inc. during the 1960s which demonstrates group theory (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Think-a-Dot)
