TUDirect is the first app for students studying at the Technical University of Delft to easily check their course information, building information, grades and more.
This app uses the Signle Sign On (SSO) gatekeeper and therefore cannot see/read your NetID or password, in other words your account remains safe! On top of that, the app is open source! The code is available at https://github.com/lfdversluis/TUDirect-Android

Currently TUDirect contains the following functions:

- Retrieve course information.
- Retrieve building information.
- Check your grades and see your (weighted or unweighted) average in an instance. (Authorization via netid required)
- Check your current study progress for all examprograms in which you are enrolled. (Authorization via netid required)
- View your course schedule (date, time and location).
- Find free (computer) workspaces at different locations.

From now on you won't need to search on BlackBoard anymore to find your study information, all you need is this app!
This app is also available in the App Store.

Feedback is always appreciated!

WARNING:
The amount of ECTS can no longer be displayed at the grade section due to a change that was made in the data we receive, it is still available at the valid grades!

FAQ:
Q - I keep getting an error when trying to retrieve something, what's wrong?
A - Most likely the service the TU Delft provides is out of order, try later again. If it only happens at a particular place or for a large period of time, please see Q&A number 4 below.

Q - My grade average is off if I calculate it myself, why is this?
A - Courses which were not completed successfully (grade < 6) are not taken into account as they come up as NVD. The average is therefore based on courses that are completed successfully.

Q - The workspaces indicate that computers spaces are available yet they aren't, why?
A - As stated only students logged in at the computers of the TU Delft are taken into account, the script running cannot possibly know where people with laptops are sitting.

Q - I found an error / typo / bug in the app, what now?
A - Any feedback about the app can be sent to the mail address listed below (trescumose@gmail.com).

Q - Why is there no average in the grade list itself?
A - As there are (thankfully) resits possible, courses can be graded more than once, therefore the averages could be off.

Q - I think some graphical components can be better (pictures / icons), can I contribute to the app by creating some?
A - Why yes, of course. If the contribution improves the app, then there is no reason not to do it, right? You can contribute to the project via the Github page!

Q - Can I also search by course name rather than id?
A - No, currently this is not supported yet.

Q - Why is the information provided at the course information section in Dutch and English?
A - This data was offered by the TU as is, we do not know when or wheter it's going to change.

Q - Why do I have to log in occasionally with my net id (TU Delft gatekeeper) ?
A - Once you login via the gatekeeper you can make requests for a certain amount of time (24h approximately). Once this time has passed, due to security reasons you will have to relog to enable another 24 hours.

Q - I want to see my average grade in more decimals, is this possible?
A - Yes you can! In the valid grade screen, tap on your grade to change the amount of decimals visible.
