Step By Step Guide To Install Solar Time (alpha) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. Two clock widgets (polar and digital) that display the regular time and date as well as solar time and lunar date (Hebrew or Hijri). Includes daily pryaer times (Zmanim and Salat) and a Hebrew calendar agenda widget. It's still pretty rough in some ways, so please give me feedback about your experience.
The app uses your location data to determine the current solar time; your location is set to Jerusalem until your actual location can be calibrated. No internet connection is needed.
