Smiley2 lets you create unique passwords that have extremely high entropy, making them virtually un-hackable.

To generate a password, simply enter an input word in the bottom yellow box and press the "(:smiley2:)" button. After some time, a very long sequence of characters is generated, containing most of the lower ASCII symbols (i.e. letters, numbers and special characters). You can easily choose a subset of this character sequence to form a very strong password for an account.

You can make your choice yet more secure by choosing a particular interval of the character sequence by selecting a relevant starting or ending index of that sequence. To select part of the character sequence, just long press it and move the boundary cursors. Then press the bottom-left button (the one to the left of "(:smiley2:)") to find out the indices that correspond to the selection you made.

The olive colored box (bottom panel, top-left) can be used to set a maximum password length.

Additionally, if you want your password to exclude or include certain characters, you can define these in the top panel. The top yellow box is used to define a set of characters. If you want your password to EXCLUDE all characters from this set, make sure the top-right burgundy button is marked with an "X". On the other hand, if you want your password to ONLY include characters from that set, press make sure the top-right button is marked with an "O". If you press the menu button, you can select between commonly used character sets. See the attached pictures for examples of how to use this function.

Note that the long output character sequence is unique to the input you provided---for a given input (and out put length), a unique out put string is generated. Smiley2 uses an algorithm based on the Ran2 pseudorandom number generator provided in the Numerical Recipes textbook (www.nr.com).

You may also elect to not input anything before pressing the "(:smiley2:)" button. In this case, Smiley2 creates a non-reproducible, i.e. disposable character sequence.
