In this post, I am going to show you how to install GsecuRe on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install GsecuRe using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "GsecuRe" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install GsecuRe on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install

Abstract-
Graphical Password application (GsecuRe) allows the user to set a pattern password for
using the other applications. The pattern are some set of hexagonal colour tiles which
randomly changes its position every time you try to login. The user has to provide his details
for registration and then has to draw a pattern as a password by drawing it twice.

FEATURES-
1. Intro Slider–
The User is welcomed through three sliders in which he will find short description
of the app which he can read or skip at any point as he wishes to.

2. Registration –
Every Android can have registration of the app only once in which the details for
the login are asked. The user has to provide security questions and answer them;
these will be asked if the user by any chance forget the password.
It has many necessary constraints such as all fields to be filled, password must be
at least four characters long and match with the re-typed password, email id
must be valid.

3. Login –
Username and Password is asked to log into the user account wherein the
changes are made related to the app locking. The constraints on the login activity
are that the all the fields must be filled and password should be valid.

4. Lock Manager –
Lock Manager gives user the list of all the installed apps on his phone out of
which he can select the ones on which he prefers to limit the access, i.e. put the
graphical password.

5. Change Credentials –
The app also provides option to update the user credentials like email id,
username, password and also graphical password under “Settings” menu after
proper authentication. The old credentials are displayed in the textbox so that it
becomes easier for the user if he wants only some of them to be changed.

6. User Manual –
If in any case user needs help in using the app, there is complete user manual
provided under the “Help” menu.

7. Share –
Here is the platform for the user to share the app through all the possible sharing
mediums on his android phone.

8. Forget Password –
If in any case the user unfortunately forgets his password, GsecuRe provides an
option to retrieve the account and that too without the use of internet. All the
user has to do is to provide the answers to the security questions asked to them
at the time of registration, if entered correctly the app provides the opportunity
to reset the password
