Check your hearing level with this simple test, comparing with your friends and family. You can use this app as a simple audiometry online (THIS APP IS NOT VALID AT THE MEDICAL LEVEL. IT IS ONLY GUIDANCE). The application emits beeps at different frequencies. As we grow, we stop hearing certain frequencies (ultrasonic sounds). Depending on your age, you will hear some yes and others no. All options emit sound.

- 8khz: Heard by all people
- 10khz: Heard by people aged 60 and under
- 12khz: Heard by people aged 50 and under
- 14khz: Heard by people aged 49 and under
- 15khz: Heard by people aged 39 and under
- 16khz: Heard by people aged 30 and under
- 17khz: Heard by people 24 years of age or younger
- 17.4khz: Heard by people 24 years of age or younger
- 18khz: Heard by people 24 years of age or younger
- 19khz: Heard by people 24 years of age or younger
- 20khz: Heard by people 18 years of age or younger
- 21khz: Heard by people 18 years of age or younger
- 22khz: Heard by people 18 years of age or younger

Although NOT SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN, it is said that there are certain frequencies that repel some animals such as mosquitoes, flies, wasps... It is said that the frequency used, for example, to repel female mosquitoes (those that generally bite) is that of 15khz. MOST SCIENTISTS THINK THAT THESE THEORIES HAVE NO BASIS. You can do the test yourself and decide whether or not it is true that ultrasound works as an insect repellent.
