Who has not ever played a real Madrid bar: "One of bravaaas!"? And there is no more famous cover in our city ... Welcome to the blog of patatas bravas, wherein corners of Madrid visit in search of this rich and spicy serving.

The origins of this dish are unclear. Some say they started serving in the former home of the Toledo Street Pellico. Others say it was on the famous Las Bravas the alley cat ... which is probably born in Madrid in the mid twentieth century.

There is also controversy with sauce. It appears that the typical Madrid tomato sauce should not take but a broth based stew. Even in areas of Catalonia and Levante normal is serve with aioli. Anyway, the sauce is the most important part and what more we will value our reviews. The only requirement is that is home. Something not forgive are some potatoes with tomato ketchup or thrown directly, because that nor brave nor anythin. And of course they bite!

Do not forget the potatoes. Now you can make the best sauce in the world, if the potatoes are frozen or before yesterday, no where to take them. Madrid is usual fry until soft and cool.
