The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines the word institute in its multiple meanings. The word can mean both "what is established as regulation, rule, procedure", as "public or private organization, institution, establishment". On the other hand, the word can refer to "body of scholars, scientists, artists, writers, among others," as well as "center of studies and research, higher education institution".

b) cooperate with the Unified Spirit Movement, whose activities are finalized by the International Spiritist Council, by the Brazilian Spiritist Federation and its National Federative Council, as well as by other state federative entities.

The creators and participants of the institution claim to be workers of ideas, called to nourish the thought of the community in an effort to make the meal of superior knowledge is distributed among all, through attitudes and coherent words.
