Step By Step Guide To Install Historic Pasadena using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. Historic Pasadena is a mobile app that provides anytime access to information about historic resources in Pasadena. With this app, you can search for any historic resources near your current location, search for specific types of historic resources, or follow a pre-defined walking or driving tour developed by the City’s historic preservation staff (and, in the future, by other local groups such as the Pasadena Convention and Visitor’s Bureau). Tours developed for the initial release of the app include lesser-known historic resources including buildings from the mid-century modern and Victorian eras, bungalow courts, neon signs and historic gardens. Future tours will be developed for more commonly known historic resources such as buildings from the Arts & Crafts and Period Revival eras and historic districts such as Bungalow Heaven and Old Pasadena. The app provides map and text directions (including transit) from your current location to the historic resource of your choice and allows you to access information about the resource such as date of construction, original architect, and an explanation of the resource’s significance to the history of Pasadena.
