In this post, I am going to show you how to install Audio Recorder on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Audio Recorder using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. To organize your recordings, you can mark them as favorites or apply a label.

* Favorites: lists all the recordings that have the favorite mark.
* Labels: the application allows you to create labels, with a name and a color, and to label the recordings. This way we can organize the recordings and find them faster. The labels can be ordered by holding the label, dragging and dropping it in the desired position.

Recording an audio

To record an audio we have several options to configure:

File Type: the type of file that will be used to save the recording. The options are:

* MP3
* MP4: If you choose this option, the codec options will be enabled.

Codec: will be used to encode and decode the audio. The options are:

* AAC: AAC Low Complexity,
* AAC-ELD: Improved Low Delayed AAC
* AMR-NB: AMR (Narrow Band)
* AMR-WB: AMR (Broadband)
* HE-AAC: High Efficiency AAC

Sampling Frequency: refers to the number of samples taken per second, and is measured in Hertz (Hz). The options are:

* 44.1 kHz
* 48 kHz
* 88.2 kHz
* 96 kHz
* 176.4 kHz
* 192 kHz
* 352.8 kHz
* 384 kHz

Bit rate: defines the number of bits that are transmitted per second. The options are:

* 32 kbit/s
* 96 kbit/s
* 128 kbit/s
* 160 kbit/s
* 192 kbit/s
* 256 kbit/s
* 320 kbit/s

Channels: defines the number of audio channels. Usually it is 1 (mono) or 2 (stereo).

Depending on the parameters you choose the quality of the recording will change. We suggest you read about it to get the best experience with our application.

The audio will be recorded on a service that runs in the foreground. A notification will appear indicating the duration and size of the recording.
